  • How do you repair a damaged fence?

Our team replaces broken elements, repacks leaning posts, and adjusts gates. We’re available to provide repairs for our fence installation customers as needed.

  • How often do wooden fences last before they need to be replaced?

Spruce stockade fencing lasts approximately twelve years. Custom red cedar and post and rail fences typically last about fifteen years.

  • How close to a property line can a fence be installed?

Most local governments allow fences to be installed at the property line, but not in or over it.

  • Is it possible to install a new fence next to my neighbor’s fence?

This practice is not advised due to aesthetic reasons. Most fencing styles can be installed along the line of another fence.

  • Are you able to build a fence without digging post holes?

Holes are a necessity if the fence is being installed in dirt. Aluminum fencing can be installed in a very level concrete pad using screws and flanges, but this is not the optimal method of installation.

  • Do fence posts have to be installed in concrete?

Our quality-focused crew secures all custom red cedar, aluminum, steel (chain link), and vinyl fence posts in concrete. With post and rail fencing, only the gate posts need to be set in concrete.

  • Can you install a fence when the ground is frozen?

Our skilled installers use powerful machinery that allows us to install fences year-round, including in frozen ground.

  • What is the best, low-maintenance fence I can purchase?

An aluminum fence requires minimal maintenance, and aluminum gates are light and maintain functionality well.

  • What is the best time of year for fence installation?

Our skilled team can install beautiful new fences year-round. If you want the quickest turnaround time from order to installation, it’s best to order your fence in December or January. Ordering during this time helps you avoid the spring rush.

  • Does a vinyl fence break easily?

All vinyl fences are not the same. County Line Fence LLC is proud to install professional grade vinyl fencing that’s warrantied for life against breaking without collision or misuse.
